Russia has started blocking Shadowsocks. Will Bebra keep working?
Yes, our apps work. Besides Shadowsocks, Bebra uses VLESS + REALITY, XHTTP and Hysteria2. The app picks the protocol and the fastest route for you, and if a route stops working, it switches to another one by itself.
Our website may get blocked. If that happens, we’ll move to another domain. If our site stops opening, contact our support (the links are in the app) to get its current address.
Is it legal to use a VPN in Russia?
Yes. The law does not prohibit individuals from using a VPN. The requirements apply to VPN services themselves, not to their users.
Do you keep logs?
We don’t keep logs of the websites you visit and don’t store the contents of your traffic. The technical data we need to run the service and protect it from abuse, and how long we keep it, are described in our Privacy Policy.
How many devices can I connect?
There is no limit on the number of devices.
You can sign in to your account on as many devices as you like.
Can I share my subscription with family and friends?
Yes. Just sign in to your Bebra account in the app on their device.
Is there a traffic limit?
No, there are no traffic limits.
How many IP addresses does the subscription include?
More than one. Each location has several routes: if one stops working, the app switches to another by itself. And the Find working server button in the app gets fresh IPs.
Does Bebra work in Turkmenistan?
Yes, Bebra works in Turkmenistan.

How do I pay with a Russian card?
Since the App Store and Google Play stopped accepting Russian cards, you can pay on our website https://bebra.cl.
When you pay, enter the e-mail you use to sign in to the Bebra app. After payment, the subscription will start working on your device automatically.
How do I connect another device?
Sign in to your Bebra account on all your devices and use the VPN on each of them.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you paid on the website, you can cancel your subscription in your dashboard.
If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, you can cancel it in your phone’s subscription settings.

Troubleshooting on iOS
If you get a connection error on iOS, try the following steps.
Server connection error
This guide will help you fix the connection error that sometimes appears on iOS when connecting to the VPN.
1Open your phone’s Settings, then the “VPN” section
Sometimes the “VPN” section doesn’t respond to taps. In that case, only restarting the phone will help.
2Turn off the switch
If the Bebra connection is selected in your VPN settings and its status is “Connecting”, just turn off the VPN switch in Settings.
In 99% of cases, you’ll then be able to connect through our app.
Download Bebra on iOS in Russia and China
Apple hides VPN apps in Russia and China. It’s easy to get around this with an App Store account from another region. For Bebra users in Russia and China, we provide a free temporary foreign App Store account, so you can download our app on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
It’s safe: you won’t link your device to another Apple ID. It’s used only to sign in to the App Store.

Don’t upgrade the account’s security after signing in! Choose Other Options → Don’t Upgrade. Don’t link your phone number to the temporary account.
How to sign in to the temporary account
Sign in through Media & Purchases. You don’t need to sign out of iCloud. At steps 8 and 9, choose Other Options → Don’t Upgrade.

Scroll to the end of the account settings and tap Sign Out.
4Confirm signing out
When iOS asks if you’re sure, confirm.

Go back and tap Media & Purchases again.
6Choose another account
Tap Not [your name]? On your iPhone, this button shows your own name.
7Enter the login and password
Use the temporary account details you got above on this page, then continue.
8Other Options
If the Apple Account security screen appears, tap Other Options. Don’t tap Continue on this screen.
9Tap Don’t Upgrade
Confirm with Don’t Upgrade. Don’t link your phone number to the temporary account.
10Wait until you’re signed in
Wait for the sign-in screen to close. If you weren’t asked to upgrade security, go straight to the download.
11Download Bebra VPN
Open the app with the button below or find it in the App Store. Tap the cloud icon with an arrow or Get, and wait for it to install.
Once the app is installed, switch back to your own account. Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Sign Out. Confirm, then open Media & Purchases again and sign in with your own account. The downloaded app stays on your device.
Frequently asked questions
I get a “Wrong password” or “Account locked” error
Most likely, the previous person we gave this account to changed the password, and we haven’t changed it back yet. Refresh this page and get a temporary account again: you’ll get a different one.
Is it safe?
Yes, because you don’t sign in to iCloud. You only need to sign in to the App Store.
Why is it so complicated?
Apple removes VPN apps from the Russian App Store at the request of Roskomnadzor, Russia’s internet regulator. Dozens of apps are removed every month, and the same app can’t be published in the App Store again: it won’t be approved. So the only option for users in Russia is to change the App Store region to another country. That isn’t always possible (for example, you can’t change the country if you have rubles on your App Store balance, if you use Family Sharing, or if you have an Apple Music subscription), so for these cases we provide temporary App Store accounts.
Can I use the temporary account to download other apps, not just Bebra?
Of course, you can download any apps with our account. Our accounts are set to the US region, so everything that isn’t available in Russia is there: ChatGPT, Netflix, Spotify and much more.
If I need the temporary account again later, can I get access to it?
Yes, you can ask our support for the current password of your temporary account at any time. Write to us at [email protected] or message us on Telegram.
I’m trying to update an app that was installed from a Russian account, but I get an error
In that case, just delete our app and download it again with our account. You’ll get the latest version of the app.
I accidentally linked my phone number to the account. What should I do?
Don’t worry, we’ll unlink your number from the account automatically within 5–10 minutes.
I accidentally signed in to iCloud instead of the App Store. What should I do?

Can other people access my device through this account?
No, the account is yours alone for 15 minutes. After that, we change its password and end your session before giving the account to someone else.
Why does Apple remove VPN apps at Roskomnadzor’s request?
We don’t know. We tried to challenge these decisions and show the App Store reviewers that VPN apps are very important for people in Russia right now, but they don’t accept these arguments. We’re looking for other legal ways to bring the app back to the Russian App Store: we go to court and reach out to journalists. But this takes time, and people need a VPN now, so we found the simplest way to let you install a VPN anyway, despite all of Roskomnadzor’s attempts to stop you.

Troubleshooting on macOS
If you get a connection error on macOS, try the following steps.
Server connection error
This guide will help you fix the connection error that sometimes appears on macOS when connecting to the VPN.
Open System Settings, then the “VPN” section
If the Bebra connection is selected in your VPN settings and its status is “Connecting”, just turn off the VPN switch in System Settings.
In 99% of cases, you’ll then be able to connect through our app.
Bebra for Android TV
The Bebra app works on TVs and set-top boxes with Android TV 10 and newer.
1Install the app on your TV
Download the Bebra APK file for Android TV and install it on your TV. If the file doesn’t download, get it from the mirror. It’s the same file.
You can open the link right on the TV, for example in the Downloader app, or copy the file to a USB flash drive and open it in a file manager such as File Commander. The first time you install, the TV will ask you to allow installing apps from this source.
Make sure you install this file: it’s the TV version, and it works with the remote.
2Sign in with a one-time code
The TV will ask for an 8-digit code. You can get it in two ways:
in the Bebra app on your phone: Account → Sign in on another device;
in your dashboard on the website: the Quick sign in to the app block, Show code button.
The code works once and is valid for 3 minutes. If you didn’t enter it in time, get a new one.
On the TV, you can only sign in to an account with an e-mail: it won’t accept a guest account’s code. If you use Bebra on your phone without registering, first tap Link e-mail in the app, then get the code.
3Connect
Choose a country and connect. One subscription covers all your devices, with no limit on how many. If you don’t have a subscription yet, you can get one on the website or in the app on your phone.
