Network 10

Network 10’s help desk tells travellers they won’t get in until they’re back in Australia. With Bebra connected to Australia, the service gets an Australian address instead of yours. It can still turn away a server it recognises as a data centre, as many streaming services do. For a single show, the help desk suggests searching for its name with “watch” and your country, in case a local broadcaster carries it.

Matches in Sydney

Valve has a single Australian site, in Sydney, and Australian matches are hosted there. Pick this tile to play alongside friends in Australia. How far you are from Sydney still shapes your ping, as the games page explains.

Australia in the Bebra app

In the English app, type “Austral” into Search. Stopping at “Aus” would leave Austria in the grid too. Tap Australia and Bebra connects, with Connected to Australia appearing at the top.

Network 10 and New Zealand

I live in New Zealand. Do I need the Australia tile for CS2?

Not for Valve’s servers. New Zealand has no Valve site, and Sydney is the nearest one, so your matches can land there without a VPN. The Australia tile is for services that check for an Australian IP, such as Network 10.
